Cortech goods bought in Canada

I just recieved a new pair of pants today, they look pretty decent but of course wont be able to actually try them out til next riding season.

http://www.rubbersidedown.ca/cordura_clothing is located in Vancouver, so its nice to have a Canadian business to purchase your riding goods from. The price was right and the shipping was quick.

The fella I corresponded with was Josh, and he was very friendly and even phoned me twice. Not bad service in my books.

The model of pant I bought is the "jet". Be warned though, the sizing chart is very deceptive. I normally take a 34 waist (often a medium in riding duds) and Josh recommended the XL after speaking to him. They seem to fit quite well, although those with long legs may need to talk to Josh regarding sizing.

Cheers

I'm in the market for winter riding gear (just got a jacket) so I can go yr around in Victoria. The prices from those folks are good but I find it's very hard to buy gear online without trying on first.

Just recently I was thinking of a JR 7.0 for winter riding from the reviews here.. I found a good price online compared to local dealers. Went and tried them on before I ordered and come to find out that Joe Rockets sizing don't fit me at all in any of there jackets styles.
I'm 5'9" and normally take a 44. The Large JR 7.0 was very tight in the shoulders and down through the arms. I had to go to an XXL to fit well in those areas but I could then fit several pilows around my waist and the arms were 4+ inches past my finger tips.

I ended up getting a First Gear Jacket in Large, supposedly has a 48 chest.
Cortech gloves don't fit me well but Joe Rocket gloves size small fit my hands "like a glove". Go figure...

There's a local Suzuki dealer that I just visited on Saturday that carries Gerbing gear. Nice stuff and they have several cold weather pants that fall between 100-160 bucks. I'll be going back Sat to try some on.

Anyways, good luck with new pants. Take it easy on the turkey over the Holidays.

PS I haven't been to Vancouver yet. This may give me a reason to drop over.

We have the gear you need.

As always, a big thanks to those who have purchased our gear and are pleased with the quality and fit. We listen to our customers comments and try to incorporate features riders want into our motorcycle clothing. If you need gear in either textile or leather for whatever type of riding you do, drop by and see our large selection. Our prices are extremely reasonable and fair, and we don't believe you have to pay "name brand" prices to get good motorcycle clothing. We have newly designed camoflage jackets arriving in a week, as well as lots of other new styles. Happy New year and keep riding.
