So... I decided to go for a ride...

And I am not one for "ride reports" but I figured I would share how my day went. lol

Since it was nice out and I had a day off... I decided to go for a ride...

Time to check out a "unmaintained road" just to see where it went...

Not in bad shape considering it has rained several times over the last couple days... a few mud puddles... no big deal.

Nice and scenic..

Hmmm... seems to be getting a little less traveled... cool.

and then a lot less traveled..

Oh shit... here we go... (no knobbies... just Tourances for tires)

not so bad eh???

DAMN!!!!!!

I made it though!!!

All in all a good time!
And one dirty bike to clean.

My wife says to me..."how come every single picture you ever take has your bike in it?"

Glad I'm not alone on this one.

Neat pics. You go places I don't.

At first I thought those might have been ammo boxes for the LAV but then thought they should be bilingual if they were Canadian. Are they American ammo boxes?

I still have a few sa ammo boxes around the house for storage. Great little things.

Orange 2012 Wee (new in May 2013) - Richland Rich's fork brace and mirror extenders, Givi engine guards and top case, gel grips.
Black 2004 Wee with H&B engine guards, SV Racing Frame and Swing Arm sliders, Superbrace, Givi top case, gel grips

The boxes are U.S. 25mm armor piercing explosive linked. The Canuck military doesn't use any cases like these afaik. They are some tough plastic blend. Will even hold treads if you wish... top and bottom open and are water tight of course.
