Cultus Lake Loop - DH67

So...

Has anyone done DH67 - Cultus Lake Loop. At the end of Frost Road, the book says that it's very easy gravel. I was solo today and decided not to take the chance because I was alone. (it's nice to have someone else around to help in case of trouble.) It was very beautiful and very tempting.

Of course, the other vehicle has something to say about it it, too! Notice there is little room to maneuver around the other vehicle.

So I turned around and headed back.

If anyone has actually done the gravel section, let me know what it's like.

Sharon

Oh and, by the way, I did get lost today - several times. But I also discovered some wonderful places. Just don't ask me where .

Have you ever got lost in Detroit?... Not much fun but can be very interesting!

Wish we had more roads like that around here Strompette.

We ARE very lucky here in BC. There is lots of great scenery. The challenge is to get out there and enjoy it!

i haven't done it, but from the pictures it looks pretty nice... if it's all like that it shouldnt be a problem.

i have never had my strom offroad, but i'm willing to go ride that road with you, if you promise to ride nice (that is pacing yourself to me if i'm slower).

i think roads like that are fun at around 50 km/h not much more, else you miss all the scenery or end up part of it.

if you're up for it, we could do it next sunday. i live in new west, but go to chilliwack often.
pm me and we'll set it up.

Drats - I've already made plans to do something else this Sunday. After that, I think work once again intrudes on enjoying life. I'll have to check my schedule and let you know. I know of at least one other person who is interested in exploring the road, maybe we can get a group of people together.
