Smile Rider Training

Advanced Cruiser / Touring Riding Course hosted by Fast Riding School (owned by Michel Mercier) (418) 422-5500 http://www.fastridingschool.com/engl...roduction.html
A full day of track based training on the race track in Shannonville, Ontario including some classroom instruction.

I attended just a few weeks ago. I was the only Vstrom and yes many of the other bikes were "H .... D.... " but we were all there to learn so no one had any attitude issues. I believe that everyone was able to learn many new skills and tips and ride within their own comfort zone.
IMHO it was an excellent investment of my time and money. Of course it was also great fun to let some of my 1000cc horse power loose in a safe environment. I don't know if I had more fun accelerating, cornering or braking. Once again my Vstrom proved to more capable and fun to ride than I ever imagined.

Vstrommers do ride great bikes.

Hey Gord, I forgot you were doing that.

How much actual track time did you get?

Was there individual evaluation or was each exercise done as a group activity?

Most importantly.....how fast did you get the beast going?

Speed is irrelevant for Gord.. he has his Dragons now!

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)
SMIDSY detailed report.

The speed reference was kind of a joke, I am interested in the course though.
