Canuckiod tire prices

I see that Parts Canada has actually lowered the prices on a number of items (like some tires, and HJC helmets) that are more in tune with US prices.

I just ordered a Bridgestone BW-502 rear skin for 185.00 cdn including taxes.

Still enough, but better than previous prices.

The HJC CL Max modular has been reduced by pretty much 100 loons.

I will now order one from my local dealer rather than the States.

MotoVan, are YOU listening??

Cheers!

I think I paid around $175 or so for a Tourance rear last month from my local dealer.

I went to order a gel seat this week - they are ~$167 at Ron Ayers, and have seen them as low as $144. Dealer said Suzuki had just reduced the Canadian price from $360 down to $260. He was adamant that $167 was below his cost - I declined ordering it.

Where did you get them?

Those are pretty decent prices.

For the most part, all dealers work with PartsCanada or MotoVan.

Cheers

If you are asking me I got them from my local Suzuki dealer. She always gives me a deal on everything I buy from her. (I think I spend too much with her..she gave me free sunglasses last month. Hmmm..)

road attack

I had both tires changed last week for a complete set of Conti Road Attack at a price of 370$ installed. By the way a Wee is fantastic on road rubber.

You might be interested in the Bridgestone Battlewing rather than the Tourance. I have tried both, I like both, but the BW definatly gives a smoother/quieter ride and lasts almost as long as the Tourance. The BW also seems to work abit better in the rain as well.

The Tourance lists in Canada (PartsCanada) for 257 rear and 214 front.

Retail in Canada for a rear BW is 195.00 and the front about 156ish.

My local dealer is willing to try to match US prices and gave me a rear for 180.00 including taxes and the front for 125.00. I was very happy with those prices, especially seeings I go thru 3 rears and 2 fronts in a summer.

Cheers!

I've heard alot of good things about G.Bourque out of Moncton NB, a few Barrie riders order their tires through them. It's worth a shot to give them a call.
