Thumbs up Government of Ontario Motorcycle Website

I was just surfing some bike websites today and came across this website on motorcycling in Ontario maintained by none other than our own provincial government!! Our tax dollars at work - and a pretty decent site it is too. Thereís lots of route information, places to see, where to stay, eat, sightsee, external links, etc.

If you donít know the province too well, this would be a good resource to plan some rides this summer. It even has the up to date link to the Great Ontario Bike Roads site. Enjoy.

2005 Blue DL650 (sold with regret - hurt the knees)
2007 Boulevard C50 (Wife's bike)

If your nose is close to the grindstone and you hold it here long enough, in time youíll say thereís no such thing as brooks that babble and birds that sing. These three will all your world compose: just you, the stone, and your poor old nose.

Right ON!

Thank you, Throttlehound!

I have ridden lots of Ontario's roads, but nowhere near enough.

I will be there when oyster-eating season is over, and I hope to see you on a road or two. Here in Southwest Florida, finding a hill is quite a challenge, so I will enjoy riding in the third dimension when I get back to the province of my birth.

And that site will help a lot. Here's a site for you:

Even in the dark, I can see that Bracebridge is not very inviting ... yet.

Thanks for posting. There have been Ontario-oriented sites in past that treat motorcycling as an adjunct to the main theme but nice to see there's something specific to motorcyclists for a change. A good use of tax-dollars given what bikers do return to the economy in terms of gas, food, lodging and general $ for the priviledge of biking.

Great site for promoting Ontario.
We should move this link to the Rider Report section and share with the rest of the strommers.
