Chris Swann : Re: hows the bike

Hi Chris...

You sent me a private message, but when I tried to reply I got this message:

Since nothing was really private in the message, I thought I'd just post the reply here for you.

Hi Chris...

I cut polished it a bit, but pretty much left it the way it was. I sprayed the crash bars with Black Krylon so they wouldn't start rusting, and you can't even tell. From 10 feet away, you can't tell it was dropped. (Or when you are riding it!)

I figured if I keep taking it off road, it'll only get dropped again.

The only real mechanical damage was a bent brake pedal, which I replaced as soon as I got back in town.

Since Xmas I have added Madstad brackets, an MRA Vario touring screen, and SW Motech Engage XL tank bag. No pictures of it since those additions though.

How are you doing?
