Where to buy tires in the GTA

Hey everyone, need to replace the tires on my 2013 V Strom 650. The stockers have 23,000 km on them, with the front still good for another 10K or so. I plan to replace both as I am going up to the Yukon and Alaska this summer. Can anyone recommend a place that is good and cheap on tires? By the way, I had a very bad experience with Rosies and will not recommend them to anyone.

Thanks!

After going there for my first few years of riding, and after one of their good mechanics (Johnny) passed away, I wouldn't recommend that shop to anyone either!

That said, you might want to order your tires from PetesSuperbike. They are based out of Quebec and can usually ship to your door for much less than it costs to buy locally. Their shipping time if the tires are in stock is usually about 3 days to your door.
Motorcycle Tires -

I have been buying tires off them for about 6 years now with only positive things to say about their prices and turnaround time.

Canadasmotorcycle.ca is where I buy all of my gear from. I like the design of the website, makes it easy to find things.

You can then take it locally and have them installed. Having said that some places will not install tires purchased elsewhere and some will charge extra fee. Keep in mind any warranty work will also not be covered. Because of that I wound up getting a local shop to do it. Cost about 25 a tire more but I didn't have to get the bike and tires to a shop and any warranty issues they deal with and cover the labor.

GP Bikes would probably be decent to deal with?

Yes, GP Bikes has great pricing and great to deal with but, a bit of hike from Newmarket. Will go with them.

Thanks Guys.

I've ordered tires from Canadasmotorcycle.ca before and was happy, but now I see they are out of stock of a few brands in the size we need.

This time I ordered a set of tires from Motorcycle superstore and had them delivered to CBI since I will be passing by there soon anyway.

As for where to have the tires mounted... if you are anywhere near the GTA there is a guy called Mikey Moto in Brampton who mounts and balances tires at $15/wheel if you take the wheel off and bring it to him. He basically works out of his garage, but has a full setup and does excellent work.
