Shoei Hornet in Ontario

I got my new Cycle Canada this week and it had an insert from GP BIkes, in Ajax. One of the feature helmets is the new Shoei Hornet. Sounds like it might be a good one to go under the tree.... To: Me .... From: Me

Hmmm.... that looks good!

Too bad I am not in need of a new helmet.

Looks pretty good, I doubt they have one in XXL lying about somewhere for me test on my big pumpkin though.

I tried one on at it fit me better than the Arai XD. It's on my "to buy" list as well.

I currently have an Arai Profile which I love. Very comfy.

They say the Arai Profile is well suited to a long-oval head shape. Did you find the XD was tight front to back, like on your forehead?

I've been using an Arai Quantum f for the past while. It is very comfortable for me. They say it is better suited to a mellon-oval....er...round-oval head shape. I'm interested in either, the XD or the Hornet, but not at the cost of comfort.

Hmmm

Yes apparently I have an oval shaped tete. I had the XD on for about 30 seconds. Lots of pressure points and I'm not sure where it was that hurt. I had the Hornet on for about 5 minutes and had no issues. I'd try it on again if I was to buy but I know the XD won't work for me.

Sorry I can't help more.
