Importing a Bike from the US to Canada

I've posted a readme on the "other" V-strom forum for importing a bike from the US to Canada. Rather than double posting it (it was uploaded as jpgs) here is the link:

http://11109.rapidforum.com/topic=104970483300

If anyone would like the readme as a document (word) or pdf (adobe) please PM me.

Cheers,
Bug

This topic is covered elsewhere.

If you visit www.gtamotorcycle.com you will find a lengthy treatise on the importation of bikes from the USA. I offer no opinion on its value, but it is impressively long.

Good luck with any such project.

IF you want advice on buying a DIY trailer at Harbor Freight and bringing THAT into Ontario, I can tell you how I stumbled on the exactly right way to accomplish that with no fees and no hassle. The wrong way is costly.
