Another newbie here (on forum)

Hello guys,
I am new here, i will be back on bike after 3 years away. Spent about 6 years on European roads before moving to Canada few years back. Now i am looking forward to spend more time on roads in NAmerica.
When i bought my first bike back in 2004 (Kawasaki KLE), i was attracted by VStrom. Didn't get the chance at that moment, but now is the time. It seems that love at first sight still working

Looking forward to see on the road!
Cheers!

Welcome!
The coffee shop in Bellefountain is always a good place to start. There's always somebody there.

I'm not always sarcastic.
Sometimes I'm facetious.
Or ironic.....

If a tree falls in a forest and lands on a politician, even if you can't hear the tree or the screams, I'll bet you'd at least hear the applause.

Hey folks, also new to the site. I was alerted to the site couple weeks back and have been on here daily getting up to date.

I bought a 09 wee last September and put 3000kms on before the snow flew. This year up over 6k since the snow left us and loving every minute. I live in the Quinte area and ride with friends, buddies from work most weekends and see lots of strommers out and about.

I Have most of the farkles being discussed but as everyone it seams are dealing with the buffeting issues. I have delt with the high/gusty wind affecting the front end by trimming out the plastic under the lights but leaving the front trim so you can't tell I even cut it out but bike in the wind is like night and day...huge improvement. I am looking at a larger windsheild to help deal with the buffeting as the mad stand with stock shield. Isn't great in high speeds. Also have a icon variant helmet and the visor is a pain in crosswinds.

Anyway...really enjoying the site and look forward to seeing some of you out and about the Quinte area.

Safe travels

Dave
