Made it home again despite injuries. Which had nothing to do with motorcycles as such. Rum, hubris, rocky river beds and motorcycle boots with slick plastic soles are not a good combination, kangaroos on the road on the way out did not help my mood at all I might add.

And for Steve, yeah pretty sure your call was right on there with respect to damage pushbike spills v motorcycle The shoulder armor in my jacket saved me from a broken collar bone, wallet in the hip pocket was not quite so protective. I'll be walking with a limp for a few days for sure but nothing seems to broken. The good news there, I still bounce O.K. .

Otherwise I had a great time, the camping gear worked and I would have managed a decent nights sleep apart from aforesaid injuries so if anyone was wondering why I was a bit quiet after dinner - that was why. I don't know how anyone else found the trip home but it was slow but really scenic for me with the low cloud and mist blowing around the valleys.

Been trying to get to this one for the last three years, and finally made it! Top spot and top company made for a great weekend. Thanks to the organisers [Hugh and Ange?] for their efforts, as these things don't just organise themselves. Can't wait for the next one!

Never argue with an idiot.......they drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience!

Great weekend. I don't get on here much anymore, but I wanted to say thanks.

Well organised Ang & Hugh. Great to see Steve x 2, Gary & Hiew, Mark and Pam and plenty of others...the 'odd foreigner' Rob also has a strom, but has his new Duc now. I tend to ride with him, Chris and Ken when I can, but it is not as frequent as we would like.

Thanks for the firewood gents, Tom I think, and Mark for his 2 bags that saved us as old Pete caretaker seemed to forget a delivery. It worked out good. The scenery in that area is really great, but we need some rain real soon.

Get better soon Steve C.

Cheers
