Thumbs up

Well we have had a few others confirm they are coming via other means so to all those that are sitting on the fence undecided pack the flanny PJ's and get your arse out to Stinson for the night, its always been a cracker even if it does rain.

Cheers

Update: I have the weekend off, but not by request.

I fell off my pushbike 4 weeks ago (pause for jeers and raucous laughter) onto road, and smashed up left knee, hip, elbow and broke shoulder (pause for sympathy noises). (Did a little jump and front tire lost grip on wet road, low side to the left slamming me to the tarmac.)

I don't bounce as much as I used to AND no protective gear, pads etc. (except for helmet & gloves, hallelujah for the hands).

So I'm off work and spend my days hobbling around to xrays, ultrasounds, MRI, doctor, specialists, physio yadda yadda yadda. It's a routine many of us are familiar with. Recovering well for an older bloke, arm out of sling - now to get it moving. Still can't walk far.

So ... depending on how I go this week, I might be limited to just dropping in to the campsite Saturday afternoon/evening, by car. Fingies crossed.

Ange n Hugh. Can I invite a non stromer? She a goodun and lots of fun and could use a night away. Chance a 10 year old grandchild could be involved. Maybe not on a bike but. Unless somebody else has spare seat from southside brisy.

Cheers Tom R

On another note, what has been sorted about firewood. Have half a chord of rubbish timber I am in need of disposing of. Could drop it out during the week if we have a spot to put it where it may not be purloined. Might disappear a bit quick in flames but hey it is free for the asking.

Cheers Tom R

No where to leave it really.
The care taker will supply bags of fire wood & we usually divvy up the cost the next morning when paying camping fees.

Maybe a bit late putting this out there but. Going to be coming out in the ute, couple reasons but lets me bring some firewood out will be the one that matters.
So anybody want me to pick up anything else. Cash when I get there will suffice. Will have an esky or two with ice anyway so that is counted. Will be leaving Rocklea about 1pm so there a few hours left.
Can get me on 041747005oh.

Cheers Tom R
