Question RAM Ball question.ADventureTech

RAM Ball question.ADventure tech

Hello all experienced troopers ,
I have been searching this forum to familiarize my self with The 2008 DL1000 and vendors and upgrades.
I ordered quite a number of products from adventure tech and will order the rest gradually. amongst things I ordered is mirror extender with an EXtra RAM BALL, I am planning to place a GPS or Cell phone there, my question is what is supposed to be mounted on this part , is that sturdy enough not to fall? if it is not recommended I will order shelf with place for Cell, Navigation, and cigarette lighter and or USP from Adventure Tech(these go under the inside of wind shield and looks safer), and will use the one on mirror extending part for GO Pro , but I still need to know the other part 's name hugging the RAM Ball.
Do you Have any recommendations?
Thank you Ride safe

Sorry,

The vendor portion of the site is WAY DOWN at the bottom and sometimes I don't even see it. That means the surest way of communicating with us is a PM, contact form from our website, or phone call.

The answer to your question is a Ram arm and cradle. We have the arm and cradle for smart phones on our website. Ram Mount Accessories - AdventureTech, LLC. Scroll down to the bottom for the arm.

Other GPS specific cradles are available directly from RAM.
