Adventuretech Auxilary Light Kit

We had a very successful stealth launch of our Gen 1 V-Strom auxiliary light kit and it is now time to go public. Several owners have tried the kit and love it. It's designed to be very easy even for those who think they are electrically challenged.

The $150 kit includes

A pair of Genuine Cree 10 Watt LED lights with Euro Lens (possibly the best compromise between spot and flood).
Full wiring harness including relay and on/off switch
Solid one piece under the cowl light bar (Gen 1 V-Strom only, Vee1 and Wee1)

We have kits in stock ready to go.

The parts can be purchased separately as well. Although I don't recommend them, for example the wiring harness and light bar can be used with the inexpensive amazon.com LEDs. Ours lights appear to be a full order of magnitude (10 times) brighter than the amazon.com lights, but if you already have them our light bar and wiring harness will help you get them on your bike.

Separate prices:

Light bar - $25
Wiring harness - $25 each

PM me for purchase.

Good Morning Rick,

I was looking for your kit on the web site but no information on it. I have the 2012 DL1000 I would like to see more info on the light kit and also the 2+ break lines?

Pete

l will get some better pictures shortly, but here is what I have.

The wiring harness...

The wiring harness can be used with the supplied switch or as an option can be wired to automatically turn on with the bike's existing high beams.

The following pictures show the lights and a light bar before powder coating. The light bar comes black. It's milled from a single piece of 3/16" thick solid aluminum. It's quite robust.

This is a picture showing where the light bar mounts behind the nose cowl. the supplied clip nuts are installed on existing tangs.

Yes, all DL650s up to 2011.

I'm working on a light bar for the Wee2 and Vee2.

The two forward facing tangs on the lower bar.

That's a pretty interesting picture. I have never seen on stripped down like that.

Well - the first time ever I took off the front Tupperware I was unsure about what was going on - so I took it ALL off. After all, the blue Tupperware that came off was going on to my then-silver ABS-model bike. I did a plastics swap band fuel tank swap (since it is painted) between the ABS and non-ABS bikes. Then I sold the non-ABS bike.
