I just got back on Tuesday from a 1700 mile solo trip to New Mexico (taos, red river, angel fire, santa fe). I made it home 702 miles in 13:15. Made for a long day. I can tell you the fork brace helped a lot in the windy conditions....several times almost blown into the other lane. I have a spencers modified seat with an Alaska sheepskin top. This helped some too and was an improvement over the stock seat. I also wore a water vest that helped with the heat but still ended up stopping every 30-40 minutes to hydrate. I have the stock screen with madstad bracket and dual givi boxes on sides and center stand. No skid plate or crash bars.
