I brought my bike (2013 Vstrom650) in for the recall back in Feb-Mar with no charging issues. I get the bike back it sits for april and may (started a new job was really busy) I ride it once in may and the battery dies. I bought the bike new as a leftover May 2015 and it was the original battery, so it wasn't old. So anyway I just bought a new Yuasa battery and now it is dead because the old one wasn't holding a charge. Does anyone think the recall repair had anything to do with this? I am kinda new to riding so my knowledge on repairs is limited on what they did to replace the camshaft and tappets. I figured I'd ask before i call my dealer and give them the Raras.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
