I just looked over your Alaska trip post on ADV. I did the same trip about a month after you. I wasn't as brave. I didn't go to Chicken and I turned around at the Arctic Circle. I also had a knobbly on the front and at that long bridge that you showed, I noticed that the bike seemed less stable than I expected. I've ridden steel deck bridges before but none as exciting as that one. I'm wondering if the lumpy front tire contributed to the thrilling ride. Any thoughts? I stayed at Cottonwood, Destruction Bay, too. Rode with a Harley, so stopped at dealer in Whitehorse both directions and in Fairbanks. It was a grand adventure.
