i recently noticed the micheline anakee 2 tires are being phased out by the anakee 3. the anakee 2's have been so great on my wee. i feel like the tire was made for my bike and riding style. they last over 11k miles. i have a new set wiating to go on the bike and am wondering if i shoud scoop up another set.
Sad news, for sure. I agree the looks and performance of A2s seem custom-made for Stroms.
I too agree that Michelin probably knows what they're doing. The A3 on the front of my bike is doing just fine - but then again so is the better-looking (for Stroms, IMHO) A2 on the rear.
it seems that just a few years back the anakee was phased out by the A2, but the tread style stayed the same. i think i'll buy another set at some point when overtime resumes at work again.
