Any Troopers ride with this group? ( Yahoo Groups - GCDSR )

I've just started receiving the emails, but have yet to join in on a ride.

Haven't ridden with them, but ride with folks who do. I get the idea that this is more a DR/KLR kind of crowd. No way in hell I'm riding my Strom knee deep in a stream

Well I managed to get out on their 'Delta Pre-Ride' on the 12th, and met a hand full of the group.

Nothing but good things to say about 'em.

I was able to get a friend of mine out as well, and together they managed to talk me into my first exploration onto a bumpy dirt road. It wasn't their usual off road conditions, but it was enough for this n00b.

Anyway, I thought I'd follow up, and recommend the group to anyone considering.

I know a coupla' guys that ride with them as well and they have good things to say. I'd be interested in riding with them, but it all depends on the terrain d'jour. Not going to get stuck going down a steep ravine on some muddy singletrack on my no-knobbies 'strom.
