Nope, you can see all the details in the 650 section. I officially put it up for sale tonight. Not sure what I will get next. If the wee doesnt sell then I will just keep it. Not really concerned about it.
Don't mean to muddy the waters but I also commute along Hwy 50 on a Blue V. Mine has a Black Givi top case. Generally I'm going into work entering by the 65th Street on ramp at about 6:50am and exiting 10th street. On the way home it can be any time between 3:40pm and 4:30pm.
Well, I've been wanting to try out Irish Hill Rd., so tomorrow is as good of a day as any!
From A to B it's a little less then 2 hours, but I wouldn't mind a stop or two for pictures.

But, I'm up for starting a little further east, if we want a slightly longer trip. Maybe Mother Lode Dr, Union Mine Rd to the 49 down to 16 then the Irish Hill route.
I don't know anything about these routes, yet. I'm just having fun with Google Maps right now. Chime in!
Does anyone know of any good rides that could be turned into a fishing/camping trip? I know there are a ton of places near here.
I would also like to get my bike dirty but don't want to do it alone for fear of the hike back to get help. I would even be up for a group ride when things thaw out to explore.
If anyone can make it there is a group of retired guys that meet every wednesday at the Waffle Shop, Sunrise and Woodmore Oaks in Citrus Heights for breakfast and a ride. They ride mostly GoldWings, but anyone is welcome. I have been on several rides with them and it is very enjoyable. They ride all backroads to places I have never been to, last week was Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevade City and Lake Wildwood. Rides are mostly all day around 200-300 miles, bring a lunch, and meet us for breakfast.
Here is a link to one of the rides. Check out any of the posts by"PapaKen", he is the leader of the "Old Farts".
Hey, is that the same group that posts on GroupRides1.Net?
There's a group called the Gold Wing Road Riders. I've been meaning to go along on some of their rides. Also the River City Cruisers.
On that note, if anyone does plan to go out on any of those, Inland / Delta / Sierra rides listed at GroupRides1.Net, post it on here for added incentive!
Hopefully I'll catch it, but I've managed to miss a few updates because I don't always login when I visit the site upon email notification. (There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again.)
Anyway, thanks for the heads up Cros, I see a sick day in my near future.
I'm hoping to try out my new Ram mount for my GPS and Video Camera.:beatnik:
I might cruise around the 49 somewhere.
