There's riding and then there's 2mstone riding. Maybe I should have been more descriptive about my comment.
Nice pictures - I can't do the father/son rides. But the wife/husband rides are nice too.

You working class guys missed a very nice lunch I had with Tombstone yesterday in Marysvale.
He threw out the idea of a lunch run for the Utah and Nevada crews to meet at Hoovers in the future.
Who's game???????
Mike

Need a new front tire soonish... sheesh, all these chains and tires is eating into my fuel money!

edit to say: Cavehamster told me if he dies from this cold I get his bike.....so I could ride the V-Strom, or the V-Strom...

Sunday is my only day off this weekend.
Let me talk to the Boss, as her and I are riding to Brianhead and staying the night on the 16th.
See if she is up to this our just go at a leisurely rate, her comfort level and go straight to Brianhead.
I'll post tonight or tomorrow if she is up to it.
Mike

OK how about this.
Meet at Hoover's for lunch 1pm Utah Time Sunday the 23rd of August, its just 1 mile south of Big Rocky Candy Mountain.
Im heading up to Marysvale to scout out a camping area for 9-11-09 thru 9-13-09 if any of you are interested in meeting and camping in Sept.
Great Quad riding in the area and alot of areas Dual Sports and big bikes could ride with no problems.

Sounds like a plan, I think. No drag races this weekend, but of course the project bike is not quite ready anyway :P

So, I'm in as well.

Default Bike storage?

Hey everybody,

Looks like Utah riding is treating everybody well. Sorry I've been off the forum for a while again... got back into the CO area about a week ago from the east coast. Then it was off into the Flattops / White River National Forest area for some car camping. How the time has gone by since the Gathering. Which it was great to see everybody that attended.

Working on my plans to come back into the SLC area sometime this coming week. Bad news is that I'm going to be swapping out the bike for my car, and heading up to central WA. So I'm looking to put my bike up in storage for about a month. Sometime ~mid Sept I'm planning on a one way flight back to SLC to pick up my bike and ride north. I've done past research on monthly storage facilities, etc, but just thought I'd check to see if anybody had any tips?

Or maybe if somebody's looking to make a couple of $$, I'd pay them to park the bike at their property rather than paying "the man".. some easy money to put towards a new tire.. or farkle... how you spend the money isn't any of my business!

You're such a diplomat!! You KNOW noboby's gonna charge you to store your bike ...you're more than welcome to keep it in my spare garage for as long as you need.

Good to hear from you. Pm me or call me (still have my # in your phone?) and I'll take care of your bike...I'll even keep it on a battery tender for you and have ScottG come over and wash it! I might even change your oil for you if you buy me lunch when you come to pick it up. Just let me know.
