Just picked up my 2011 Dl650A(slightly used) and looks like the chain needs to be lubed. I was wondering what you guys use and how to apply it. All my past bikes had either a shaft or belt drive.
Thanks for the info, Dave |

Several products work very well. DuPont chain saver (yellow label), TriFlow, PG1 Blue are all very good.
Does your bike have a center stand? Either way, spray on lube, maybe every other tank of gas, or every tank in the wet and in the grit. If the chain is cruddy, I wipe my chain with a dry cloth. Never ever run the wheel under power and fiddle with the chain unless you have a grudge against your fingers.

And put it on after a ride as the chain will be warm and the lub will run into the chain links
