Default bubb replacement

as one who usually functions under the BFH theory/method, i sure am glad i checked this forum, b4 changing a headlight bubb!!!

i might have done some damaging twisting while trying to get the job done

Be careful getting bulbs that are daylight color.They just blend in with the daylight and thus are not noticed by oncoming traffic.

That's not how it works. It's the intensity over the background that is seen and the color only noted.

My comments reflect most of the above. Had silverstars on Goldwing and they just didnt last very long. Stock lights on my 08 wee best bike lights I have ever had (since 59 in Japan). I also due to elctric clothing, heated grips, gps, xm radio, cb radio and radar detector I installed EB one low beam cut out switch for headlights, plus EB headlight relay kit(Grey Wolfs suggestions last year). I am presently very happy with set up. O yes after market regulator also with all my winter electronics. I have a set of aftermamrket PIAA's somewhere in the garage, from my Beull Uly and Goldwing, but just have no need for them. Maybe those lights will go on my truck.
