Nearly done, linking oil lines, bleed the brake, finish welding the exhaust, then start it up, what could go wrong :green_lol:

Had that plan. Ran out of time. We got a subframe built up and I have the alloy to build a under seat tank, its just going to take a while to get that finished. I got a fuel pump and other parts needed eg. fuel cap filler adaptor /fuel pump filler machined but time was against us to get it done for the next trip and tested.

I cracked it :headbang: and fitted the KTM adv guard I had, looks way better :hurray:

And I got the wheels sealed up so its now front and rear tubless. I'll carry spare tubes anyhow but I got a reply from Bucannan about their Sun rims and anything 2.15 inches or wider has safety beads so maybe I'll sort one of those when I get back ????? and a RAD Dl rear hub, and underseat tank, and maybe I'll start that Mini moke project that I have dreaming about . . . . . . .

Got the forks re-valved and checked which hopefully fixes one issue. Modded the rear end fairing I built so it looks a lot cleaner, fitted a daytona 675 taillight which looks better and I'm having a go a fitting a trailtech 8 inch racelight style front.

It seems that a few tall people have found that lowering the screen on various bikes has help clean up airflow. I did 5000 kms on my other bike (1200 bandit) the other month and the airflow was a lot cleaner than I found on the DL (from memory anyhow ) so I'm currently thinking of losing the screen altogether and see how it goes. I'll update the pics in this week.
