Hello, still internet shopping for a Wee from Afghanistan but since we are down to 65 days till return I am starting to get serious. One problem I am having is that a lot of dealer adds just copy and past the general description from the Suzuki press material and don't have much info about the actual bike for sale. If I read
"If you're looking for adventure, here's the machine to help you find it" one more time I may lose my mind.Is there a way to tell from looking at the front wheel photos or anything if a bike is equipped with ABS if it's one of the years that it was optional ![]() -CMF

Look for the ABS reluctor ring in the middle of the disc. Unfortunately, you probably won't see it from a pic taken from the LHS.

I think most years the ABS model came with an "ABS" sticker on each side of the front fender. Of course you shouldn't count on a sticker as a true indicator that the bike does have ABS, but it's a pretty good bet.

The VIN sticker lists the model as DL650A. Tell them that you want that model and not a DL650.

ABS stickers were not on my 2012 bike and if they were, I probably would have removed them by now. Look for the reluctor ring (slotted ring closest to hubs), right side of bike, front and rear wheels.

All 2011 and 2012 650s had ABS. 2007-2009 models with ABS had decals on the front fender. No 2010 Stroms were sent to the USA.

The Canadian models, at least in Ontario did not have these decals
