That's the main reason I hung up the motocross banner.....I just wanted to ride, not get all racy and excited every time I swung a leg over. Anyway - as for unbridled excitement?, that ain't gonna be a Vstrom! It's more sublime than raw. I love riding the bike, but it's not chomping at the bit excitement (I ain't got time for that!) - it's more of the feeling you get when taking your dog out on a nice leisurely walk, and you feel like running a bit, and you just keep going...

some people like bikes as smooth as a sewing machine and some dont. The wee is that smooth, if you done like it then get Vee. The 1000 is NOT that smooth.
I know many on here say the wee is much easier to handle and ride due to the lower center of gravity. From the little amount of time I have been on a wee.... I don't see that big of a difference. Its there but its not a big deal, I feel the difference is exaggerated. The Vee handle just fine anywhere the wee does for me personally. Ride one, then you will know If you dont like either then take a look at a kawasaki versys 650. Those are nice capable bikes as well. |

Yeah it was love at first ride for me. I wasn't even looking for a bike, been off bikes for 20 years or so. Got offered a test ride and a good deal so the rest is history. That was before I knew anything about the bike , this sight, or anything else about the wee. That was five years ago now and I love it as much or more now.I ride almost daily and year around. If I was you I'd look, there are alot of different bikes out there I'm sure you'd find true love.

If you want a bike that is conducive to mundane errands the wee is it. I run errands all the time on mine. I just make sure my wife knows the store at the end of the block is actually two hundred miles from home. Just make sure you actually stop at the store before you go home. As for the size of the bike. I love it. It is the only machine that doesn't feel like I am sitting at a fourth graders desk at a parent teachers conference. Sport bikes are a lot of fun and I want one for my second bike but I can't see doing a lot of miles in one sitting. The wee is perfect for "me". I wouldn't think to ask someone else what will fit me. Go sit on every bike made. Repeat weekly till spring. Ride the ones that turn you on. Buy the one you can't stop thinking about. Ride to Cancun.
