At the same time I purchased my hyper lites, I got a set of hyper white lights for increased visibility from the front. I commute in pretty heavy city traffic, sometimes after dark and I wanted to increase my visibility. Here is what came with the set. Two super bright 16 led modules, a switch with led indicater light, plenty of wiring and all connectors to do the job.
I also purchased the optional stainless steel fork mounts, which I painted satin black to blend in with the forks. They attach with self adhesive foam tape.
I attached the light modules on the side of the lower fok legs just below the reflectors.
I ran the wiring up following the brake lines to the steering head and made all the connections up under the front fairing. The control switch mounts anywhere you want it using the same self adhesive foam tape as the light modules. I mounted the switch on the side of the brake master cylinder.
The lights are very bright and provide excellent visibility. Make no mistake they are NOT driving lights, they do not illuminate the road ahead of you. However, looking at the bike from the front they really increase your visibility.
The installation is very stealthy looking, very clean.
The last picture is deceptive, the hyper brites are actually brighter looking than the headlights. I need to get a better picture taken at a distance at night. All in all very happy with the product. Took me a while, wiring is not my strong suit, but it all worked out.
