I'm just about to replace the front fork oil on my K8A wee.
I know 10W is the standard weight. But has anyone tried 15W? any thoughts? I want to reduce the front end dive. maybe a mix and get 12.5W????? I don't really want to do it more then once so look forward to you thoughts. |

With the stock springs stick with 10w. 15w will slow down the rate of dive just a little, but it will still dive just as much.

FYI.
10-12W is ~ the same weight as Dextron III ATF. (*1) Considerably cheaper than fork oil and lasts a lot better. 1) It's a bit heavier than Suzuki SS-08 (A-B comparison on my L2). Pete |
