thnx, I was running 34 front and 39 rear. I was a little worried of overdoing the front pressure

Decided to bump these ones up to about 40/38, got strange rear wear. Have now changed to 42/39, after a solid track day at 34/32 on Sat, which seems to have even things out a bit, and will stay this way for the life of the tire. These PR3's have NO shortage of grip, and I pushed them reasonably hard this past Sat, not once did I feel any slippage/loss of traction, again, super tires....for twisty pavement

Michelin apparently recommends running factory sticker pressure, and a bunch of folks on here are saying they are going with that.
I've been doing exactly that, 33/36, and have no complaints. After the T/W I had on before, these just feel like track spikes. Great grip, easy in the wet, and predictable. The behavior is communicative when you are approaching the limit, and I've got pretty narrow chicken strips on them at this point I still don't understand the market for the trail version, but different strokes for different folks etc. If someone with the non-trails reports that they got really dreadful wear part of the way out from the center of the tire, I'll change my tune, but it doesn't seem so. I've got the trail front (same as the non-trail used to be) and the W rated non-trail rear. Not enough mileage on to say how they will wear, about 1k so far I'd guess.

Well I just spooned on a pair so we'll see how it goes. Too bad the weather is going to suck tomorrow due to Tropical Storm Isaac.

Over the course of 37,000 miles I've had Battlewings and Anakees on the bike numerous times with no issues. I personally like the Anakees the best, so far, but I've noticed they feel a bit squirrelly when the bike is leaned way over. I think it has something do with the tread pattern on the outside of the tire. Sad to say but I have no confidence in these tires and I'll be ordering up a set of Anakee's later tonight. Note, I know many folks are very happy with these tires and don't mean to say you shouldn't purchase them. They just don't work for me. Dave...

I just put them on mine and noticed it immediateltly. It doesnt bother me though, its just how the tire is profiled. I have about 200 mi on mine and i love em. Suckers hook like no bodies business and feel way beyond more planted than the factory Trailwings.
