Just want to thank everyone for this great forum. It has been very helpful as a spectator to finally make a decision to buy a used 2009 DL650. Bought the bike with 30,000 miles on it but it was impeccably maintained by its first owner so I hope to continue to do the same. My friend and I hope to make a trip, leaving from LA for about a week, so if anyone has any recommendations we are open to it. We plan on camping for the most part. The vstrom came with lots of extras, I have givi panniers E21's Givi Panniers Hard Side Cases E21

I also have a givi top case TRK 46 that I am trying to sell, if anyone needs.

Thanks! I hope so to. Right now I am trying to learn as much as possible and just riding a lot. My buddy and I hope to take a trip leaving this weekend.

There's 3 LA's that I know of, Lower Alabama, LA as in Los Angeles, LA as in Louisisanna.
Which one you be?
Only place with camping weather right now may be southern Texas.

LA as in Los Angeles. I'm a winter camper so any of the location you listed above will be better than Jackson, WY!!
