Hello everyone, new to the forum and new to the V force but I always had my eye on a V-Strom so I finally bought a 2nd hand (200
I would have included a picture but I have been busy riding it during the limited daylight hours, perhaps next weekend! I still have and like my '07 Vulcan 900 Custom but the Vee is growing on me big time. I just got a Givi top case (E370) for it so I am pretty stoked. Maintenance is going to be a bit pain as most everything seem to require lifting/removing the gas tank but oh well. It has only 44xx miles yet there is still a noticeable surge during idle. From my brief research, I guess I will have to look into buying a Power Commander. I wanted to do the TBS but the pictures in the thread were missing. I would love to do that myself as I have done it on another bike using CarbTune tool. If anyone can point me to a documentation with pictures on how to do the TBS, I'd definitely appreciate it. Thank you to all in advance! ![]() ~TL |

Greetings. If I had someplace to store it, I'd get a vulcan too.

Hi Yesler, my apartment came with a single car garage but it is really packed in there. Besides the tools and chemicals, I got motorcycle and computer gear plus 3 bikes!
![]() 3rd bike is my restoration project going at a snail speed. It is a 87 Honda Super Magna. If you have the means to store one, I'd urge you to get a Vulcan Classic or Custom (what I have). They are super fun bikes, easy on the eyes & gas, also suitable in size for most anyone. Last edited by TurcoLoco; 12-10-2012 at 10:31 AM. |
