Hello fellow troopers. 09 DL650 owner for a year now and living the dream with my black Wee. It's not all been sweetness and light though. Almost traded her in for an 07 GS1200 a few weeks ago but woke up just in time! Friends who are GSpotters are a bad influence!

Hello mate welcome to the site, have you managed to find any good rides round WA ? Without having to travel fair distances?

I work at several of the gold mines round WA and I've never seen any!

There's a super pit in kalgoorlie and by all accounts it takes around 8 of the massive dump trucks to produce a few grams of gold.

Wish I had my friend, although there is apparently plenty in the hills round these parts!

The hills round Dwellingup and Waroona are pretty good. Some nice twisties and some decent gravel roads to explore round that area. Done most of the Dams and down to Albany via Wagin and Stirling Range. Long ride that was! Hoping to do Cervantes and the Pnnacles sometime over the summer.

Yeah I do dwellingup,serpentine and places like that on a little sun morn run.
Going up to norcia at the wk end,hoping it cools down a bit for sun.

Your Strom looks well farkled mate. What dam is that one? Have you been to North Dandalup Dam? It's a cracker and if you continue over it and keep going you get a nice little stretch of scary arsed unstable gravel to take you on to Del Park road. We are often up at the Blue Wren in Dwellingup. If you ever spot a black wee next to a GS1150A and possibly a bright orange Tiger 1050 parked outside pop in and say hello mate! I'll spot any Stromtrooper that comes by anyway!

Yeah I've spent a few $'s on it, to be honest it's turn into a bit of an addiction, I found a shop up in welshpool that sells all sw motech gear, I can't help myself when I go in there,I'm like a kid in a sweet shop.

The pic was taken at serpentine a few wks back.
I have a master plan of riding to Melbourne/ Phillip island at some point.but the more I look into it the more flying over seems better.
I've also seen a good ride in a mag where they ride down to the WA / SA border.


Yeah I will look out for those bike mate next time I'm up there.
