I've been reading about and researching the Vee for months now. Finally found one I liked within a couple hundred miles of me and brought it home yesterday. Very nice ride compared to my last couple heavy, over chromed cruisers.

Ended up with a 2005 with 13,500 miles set up the way I wanted. So far, so good.

Hope to take some long distance trips in the near future and take the wife 2-up on some overnighters. Love this forum and now happy to be a part of it.

Where about in SW Missouri? I hail from that area myself although I have lived in Kentucky these past 32 years. I went to high school in Springfield, still have two brothers in the Springfield area and most everyone in Stone County is probably related to me (or used to be before Branson got big). My people go back to about 1820 in Stone County.

I live just north of Springfield outside of Fair Grove. I also lived in Stone County for a while about 10 years ago after graduating from College of the Ozarks.

Congrats on your new ride and welcome to the forum. I love your area. My wife and I go down that way a couple of times a year. We love it. We are in Columbia and have family in northern Ark. so we pass through Springfield sometimes. Silver dollar city is well worth any road trip to me. Great roller coasters without many teenagers. Love it.

Sounds good to me. I usually get down to your neck of the woods a couple times a year for a Hogs game or two. Not sure how many Strom riders are in this area, but would love to get a group together some time.
