Default New biker chick

Just learned to ride last year!! Started off on a 2001 Suzuki Savage 650. Last October, picked up my 05 VStrom 650 and have put a few thousand miles on it so far. Needless to say, the Savage got sold. Been a great bike and look forward to learning more and taking longer trips. Look forward to hearing from you!

Would like to get more experience on dirt roads. Maybe an early ride before the rains hit?

Not sure about the dirt roads around AlbeQ but some may be churned into sand that a bit of rain will help compact. You could go sneak around the Sandia's and send us some pics.

Howdie and welcome.

I know at least one other lady biker who went from the Savage to the Strom.

That would be Dirt_Mom who is married to Dirt_Dad (also known as Mr. Dirt_Mom). She's on a Yamaha now but had many happy miles on her DL650.

Enjoy the new bike,

Norm

Norm, you need to add that, Dirt_Dad and Dirt_Mom gave birth to Dirt_Child.

They really are a down to Earth family!
