Rider for many years but have had a long hiatus. The wife made me retire the last bike on my first PCS to Germany, (convinced I would kill myself). I am back in the market now and have my heart set on the Wee but I’m in Afghanistan until Feb 2013 so it’s going to be a long shopping process.

I heard there's a nice new Suzuki dealership in Kabul - having a no interest down promotional event this month - ya know, the usual balloons, hallal dogs, burkini girls, etc...... Oye vey....

I have to believe this is what we're fighting for....

Strangely enough we do buy a lot of Motorcycles here for the locals we train but they are a little on the "tiny" side, like 125's. I have seen a family of five on one that size in Thailand.... There are companies selling bikes in this part of the world that you would never believe like Singer, (yes the same as the sewing machines). Thought about trying to get one home in parts just for a souvenir but I don't think I would ever be able to register it in the states.
