Guess I should do this...

Back after the obligatory hiatus that comes with school age taxi service. Now that I have that out of the way, its time to get back on 2 wheels. Bought an 02 VStrom 1000 in August. And I'm loving it! Last bike was a KLR650 so I needed to do a little adjusting.

Been commuting almost everyday since as well as some gravel road rides. Looking forward to lots of miles on and off slab. At 54 I figure I better get busy catching up!

Welcome! I know the feeling of being a kid-taxi....after 19 years of it, mine's finally flying solo. Like getting your life back!

Enjoy that Vee!

welcome PLR. I've had my Vee for nearly 10 years now. Love the old thing. I'm happy to see you love yours too. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome PineLaneRider,
Looks like you live close to a number of Adventure motorcycle events including Romney and NEVA '17 in the Poconos. Great events, and a chance to meet and mingle with other Stromtroopers. Check them out!

Welcome...nice area to have dualie ....about 4 hours south for us. I was off for a while then back in via KLR first then some road bikes and now Vstrom and CBF1000 ( my thrill machine ) and a KLR in Aus. If you've been riding a while it all comes back but watch the Vstrom off pavement ...it's not a KLR.
