Choose the best forum when creating a thread

I spend a lot of time moving threads. Please check forum titles for the best fit for a new thread. Especially note when the subject fits any V-Strom. For example, the latest was a post about XM radio that was created in the 2012+ DL650 forum. Don't choose a model specific forum for your bike if your subject applies to all V-Stroms.

I know what you mean GW. I'm an Admin on the Australian Land Rover Owners forum aulro.com and some owners become blinkered and see only the forum that relates to their model - so every question goes there, whether or not it is vehicle-specific or general chatter.

the same would hold true to a post reply, often replies to a model specific post are made by folks who don't have the model in question-you think you got an answer and the help you need, only to find the reply relates to a different bike.

Sometimes doing a search of the subject of the contents of the post will reveal many others prior posts of the same matter. Lots of newer folks are just too excited about the inquiry to be aware of the cashe of info here.
