Hi all,
Finally, a forum for the rest of us! Thank you Brendan. Hopefully now that we have a place of our own, we can focus on our own issues of concern when it comes to 'Stroms, biking in general, women's clubs & sites, and whatever else comes up. It's very much about sharing. This is an area for WOMEN'S ISSUES ONLY, and I hope the guys here will respect that. It's a public forum right now, and I sincerely hope that we can keep it that way. I'm looking forward to being a part of Strom Sisters!

Hey Janice
Good on you. Strom women unite. But there is no way that guys will respect that you have started this just for women. They will come up with all sorts of snide remarks as we have witnessed already. Cheers Bec

Ill tell her she is welcome here! BTW, she rides a HD V rod, which has a very low seat height, but she has to look for tall inseam jeans when she shops

Good for the Gals. Might be a good place for some female rider issues to be addressed.

I'm a moderator on another site and we have a Ladies Only forum....we had to password protect it..the password protection also motivates women to be more apt to join/post there. Otherwise, IMO, (and as it is apparent already in this thread) this forum is no different from any other on the board. Not a concern in my mind, but for many, I'm sure it will be. My .02. Adjust for inflation.

As one of the few eligible to post, I have a few thoughts.
If it really is a forum for women only, why can't the other posts be ignored/deleted? Since this is a web forum, and we do not have dna testing, anyone can pose as a woman. I support the idea of this forum, but do not feel that we need to defend or explain it, and with respect, find the `male supporters` patronizing. Motera |
