I have tried a number of things for my buffeting problem. I do have a madstad and have played around lots with it. Here is a link to what I posted in the 650 forum.

Interesting thread. I wear a Schuberth C2 helmet and I have mirror extenders that place the mirrors out about 2" . I got them because I wanted to improve visibility to the rear, but perhaps they have helped the buffeting as well.

I have bought different mirrors off ebay am just waiting for them to arrive. Hopefully they will help. I have an OGK helmet. I am looking at getting a new one I would like a Nolan 102. I would have had a Nolan flip originally if they had made an XS. The 102 now comes in an XS so I am going to go and try one on. I am thinking of getting an MRA VarioTouring screen as well as it seems a lot of people have had success with it. Fingers crossed something works soon. I am doing a lot of Km's and am sick of getting headaches.

Maybe you should start a singles thread.

From your post and still referring to us as "chicks" - you can probably plan on a really long year....or more.

Just sayin'.

I am 5'5 and have the stock seat on the wee. I am considering seat mods, but am unsure if I will need to go this route.

I'm 5' 7" but I have a freakishly long 33 inch inseam. I have the stock seat. I can't quite flatfoot, but I can get both feet down.

Bah, bunch of whiney guys around here. Just think of it as "midwest" or "eastern". When you need specific info you go visit those areas but its probably not the first thing you do every day.

The point is its not a place for idiotic posts like the "is this where I get a date". Lets show a little respect damn it. If we don't it probably will become exclusionary and that would be a shame.

I mean really what is the difference between Strom Sisters and Midwest?

For someone presumably raised by wolves, you are pretty civilized there, Graywolf. Thanks.

Here here GW! With bandwidth being so limited I'm certain the ladies will be utilising the entire forum rather than wasting their special area on repeated topics already discussed elsewhere... I only hope to be able to still drop in from time to time so I may become more enlightned to the ways of the fairer sex.

A good forum post is like a girls miniskirt...
just long enough to cover the essentials while still keeping things interesting!

Absolutely.
I'm happy with the concept of a section for female specific issues but I must say I am not comfortable with the original request for women only to post. As I said earlier I would like to see this section prosper but prosper in an inclusive way not an exclusive way.

BTW are we now going to get a kids only section, a pillion only section or a Veterans only section?
