You can go to your personal PayPal account and remove the "recurring payments" for Vertical Scope. And others you might have not realized you were making! Refunds are only made by Vertical Scope.

Thank you. Following your advice I will not get charged double next year. Will I get a notification my Premium subscription is about to run out?

We can only refund payments that are younger than 60 days. If it's passed that day, please send a dispute to PayPal and it will be notified on our end.

I sure would appreciate some response. I have sent 5 PM's, one of which had both PayPal transactions numbers and two of which had photocopies of the transactions with the transaction numbers.

Last year when I was charged twice, one PM resolved the issue and the second charge was dropped. There should have never been a second time I was charged twice, but yet it happened again this year.

Please, refund the over-charge today. Thank you.

VerticalScope cancelled my premium membership - quoting problem with credit card on Paypal - BUT - my Paypal is paid directly from my checking account - so that's makes no sense.

Why is verticalscope such a problem?


No other web site has a problem accepting Paypals from me. Only VerticalScope.

your membership is paid until 03-31-2018.
do you have two or more cards in your paypal account?
If so, and the first option was to charge one card (the one you initially used to pay with) and if it didn't go through, it would autosend that message regardless, however paypal would then try to charge it on another card (your second option).

I just recently discovered that i have been double charged 3 times. 2015, 2016, 2017. They only refunded $20.00. The only reason I noticed it was because I was looking at my online bank information and it showed that a 4/20 payment of $20.00 had cleared and a 4/21 payment of $20.00 was still pending.

I believe the support they provide is unacceptable. While I certainly should have noticed it, there is no excuse for double charging without Vertical Scope noticing it also.

They make an excuse about the fact that they can't refund my $40.00 because of PayPal, while ignoring that they can easily send me $40.00 using PayPal (just like everyone else in the world).

I guess I need to cancel my Premium Membership and dispute the $40.00 through PayPal. I don't know the relationship, but I'm sorry they are involved with this web site.

I believe this kind of thing was the start of my problem where my backup funding was invalid because the card had expired. They failed the transaction without attempting it. This somehow got me two subscriptions one day apart that were both auto renewed.

Could be. If you do go for the dispute, let us know which transactions you are doing. If Paypal approves it, I can pass this on to the person who handles those on my end so they know it's coming and can get approval faster
