Mainly exhaustion and oxygen starved brain cells. We thought about it, but I knew that as exhausted as we both were that we would only drop the bike again.

Next morning, after regrouping, Marco was able to get a ride out (he speaks Spanish) fairly quickly. After the Army showed up, we felt that the best thing was for us to stay together and also to get the bikes moved back down to Mazatlan together to deal with them there. Still suffering from exhaustion and lack of sleep, so any logical decision that we might have made was purely by accident.

Next Saddlesore will be in Morelia, 3rd weekend in July 2013. Even if you don't do the ride, that is close enough to you for you to still drop by.

The Pata Salada Saddlesore will be Nov 2013. It is the more challenging of the two rides.
