Bill and Patrick are father and son. They left a few days ago headed from KY first to Montana on two new Wees. You can follow them on their blog here: VSTROM TOUR 2012
The excitement of the trip passed and he never finished posting his photos of the rest of the trip. The dad is one of our customers and has been in the shop several times since their trip. He has said the son is still planning on posting the photos he took with a real camera. The ones he posted while they were one the road were from a phone.
About a week or so out, the dad called me one Saturday and started the phone call with "I just had to call and tell you about our bikes." I knew they were out in Montana or Wyoming somewhere so I thought I was about to hear about some problem they were having. Why else would someone call on a Saturday morning from vacation? The next thing I hear was something like "Man! These bikes are awesome! We just spent the last hour running about 100 mph across a straight 2 lane road". He was so excited about their bikes he just had to tell somebody. I don't condone those speeds on public roads and you have to realize the speedos are about 10% optimistic. But they were definitely enjoying themselves.
Well, I hope he finishes the story. I have the 2012 Adventure and would love to do a trip like that someday.
Maybe you can get his dad to :furious: get onto him to finish it. LOL
