Default The “HOTTEST” Thing Since Sliced Bread….

The “hot” topic for several weeks was the 1st Lake Havasu Roundup. Heavy-H, a week before the ride, was dealing with snow.

2mstone rode down from Salt Lake City… rained Tuesday morning before he left, but as Mother Nature would have it…. This weekend, Arizona set records for high temperatures…. It was “HOT”…. “hot” enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk. 2mstome/Tombstone (I can never get it right), arrived in Flagstaff early Wednesday afternoon and we met up in Sedona later in the day. He was “hot” on the trail to check out the “Vortexes”…. you’ll have to ask him

This Spring ride was the start of our 2012 season. The “hottest” ticket in town. Strike while the iron is “hot”, as the saying goes. Thursday evening Heavy-H showed up for dinner and Mer made a “hot” fresh, homemade apple pie

Friday morning we all met up at the Old Town Café in Cottonwood, AZ….I had a “hot” tip about some great food…. So we were “hot” on the trail to try the Big Kahuna, which the café is known for

I guess they sell like “hot” cakes

“Hot” on the trail to Jerome

“Hot” pink

The clear bright sky should have been a warning that we were in for a “hot” streak

Over Mingus Mtn, to Prescott, Skull Valley…. Into Lake Havasu on Hwy 95 from the south. Enjoy the pictures….. They’re “hot” off the press

A bit “hot” under the collar

We had a “hot” date…. Finally Lake Havasu City

Saturday…. We all rode to the Lake Havasu Suzuki store…. Then off for a day ride to Oatman, AZ…. But first, “hot” coffee… then the London Bridge!

Have you been to the new “hot” spot? Lake Havasu Suzuki….

Off to Oatman, AZ…. And a part of Old Hwy 66

Walked around town taking in the sights and found a place for lunch

It was “HOT”….. time to ride back to Lake Havasu, find the hotel and some air conditioning…. Did I say it was “hot”….. oh, and some COLD BEER

In the shade….

A “hot” ticket item…. a guy could get raked over “hot” coals, a “hot” chick, several phrases dashed through my mind…. Including, I could get into “hot” water…. It must have been the heat and… and, beer!

Later that evening we rode over to Lake Havasu State Park for dinner with the other riders…. I don’t think the “hot” air just got to me…. Or was it the beer??

Lake Havasu Suzuki put on a WONDERFUL gathering…. I have to confess Mother Nature was on the "hot" seat. Sunday we wanted to get an early start on the road…. According to the weather service, it was supposed to be “HOTTER”

We stopped in Parker, AZ for breakfast… a “hot” spot according to the locals…. the Crossroads Cafe

Stopped to find some shade….. did I say it was “hot”

At this point…. The sign said it all!

We were getting close to Prescott…. Stretch our legs, top off with fuel and lunch

We were close to home…. Had to say our goodbyes to Heavy-H…. Mer and I had a great three days seeing fellow riders and meeting new friends

And special thanks to 2mstome, Heavy-H and jdubyap for riding along…. I think they would all agree….. just

Actually it was hotter than that. I had a Kelty shelter over my tent and the temp in the tent read 123. the thermometer on the dash of the bike with a light grey cover on it read...Black! It overdosed on the heat! But it was a dry heat!
