Been to Mono Hot Springs twice this year.First time on my Wee next time took wife in the PU and camped both times.Edison Lake is great.Once U leave the top of Kaiser Pass it is a one lane poor road and they just pave over the top of the rocks. My friend took is GW and he ended up blowing both fork seals. The FJR is fast but for this road the only thing U will see IF U can stay closes either is the taillights of the WEE I know cause I had two FJR's.Next trip I want to go to Florence lake I hear it is great.I have a friend that works at MHS as a massage therapys. And she allows me to camp in a very nice place there, away from the noise of the campgrounds. And they's a great little restaurant in Huntington Lake.Enjoy the Sierra's.

Thanks for the RR.
Love the pics, great way to combine camping in comfort with riding.

Maybe I should buy a trailer to haul the Wee behind my 4WD and take the missus on some combined camping/riding trips [we only camp in the 4WD, and only manage day rides with her on the bike-she finds it too fatiguing on the bike for long trips-we just found out why-major operation for her next week ].

"Normal" is only a cycle on the washing machine.....

If you wait, all that happens is that you get older.

Hey Guyver- nice RR.

i thought I recognized that bike...

Remember I met you two years ago in the middle of the night in Big Basin when we both wanted the last camp spot? We drank half the night then cruised the roads of Santa Cruz the next day....

that was a handy dandy repair you did that morning.

good times.

California has some great roads, you guys have better weather too.
