That's the attitude. There's ways to make things good, even when it is all about you.

Speaking of pleasant. Any future plans to do more rides/reports ? The ride I ended up doing in October failed miserably. Only did 3000 miles over 10 days and learned a few things along the way.

I am doing a new ride report from my 28 day, 19 states and 8600 mile ride from San Diego to Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and then across Nebraska to Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and then a straight shot back on I-10 to San Diego.

You can find it in this section under the title "four seasons tour of America".
I will try to tone down my sarcasm without ruining the report.

Sorry to hear your ride didn't work out. I have had a ride disappoint. It is important to recognize it as soon as possible and adjust the ride if possible in order to salvage some of the ride. Even those "less than optimal rides" can usually teach you something you can apply on future rides. Start planning your next big ride as soon as you can.

2000 Honda Sabre VT1100 (194,000 miles)
2005 Suzuki DL650 (116,000 miles)
1976 BMW R90/6 (33,000 miles)
2009 Vespa GTS250ie (8200 miles)
1993 Honda CB750 (13,000 miles)
2013 BMW R1200GS LC (16,600 miles)
2015 Kawasaki KLR650E (3,200 miles)
