I would like to add my experience in dealing with Spencer. COmmunication was great and the turn around excellent. The seat looked perfect.
I have not had time to ride it in until Saturday. I did about 2.5 hours. No Iron Butt award but I did notice that the seat no longer pushed my pelvis (and other things) into the tank. The two pressure points on the inside of my thighs were gone. I asked to be lowered and I definately am.

Between the seat mod and cutting the rubber blocks in half, I am going to remove the lowering links to see how it feels.

All in all, very satisfied.

Default sweet ride

Spencer's mod on my DL1000 seat (vinyl ripped long seam) was a revelation.
I sent Spencer a description and a new Luimoto cover for the original seat. It all came back in about a week turnaround. The seat that came back to me with a reshaped back edge that is more vertical than before. This stopped the seat pushing me toward the bars and gave me some comfortable lower back support. The gel pad tooka few miles to break in but after that I never experienced discomfort again. It was a huge improvement. No more aching back, or sore butt, way less vibration. I tend to get tired after my first hour with the aches creeping up my legs into my lower back. Not any more. Spencer's modification beats EVERY fancy after market seat I have EVER had. I highly recommend this mod.
