My Wee is sans the windscreen as well. This is my first bike that had one but I felt unsafe with it installed as side winds made the bike wander too much and was just too squirrely in the turns. I put up with the extra wind noise vs what I feel more safer riding. I'm looking now for some type of cover where the screen was mounted to cover the ugly exposed area. Probably will have to fabricate something out of stainless or better yet, aluminum.

Don't get a 'double bubble'. I eventually replaced it with a Suzuki sport screen I was able to pick up on a visit to the UK.

Not sure what the deal with the wind buffeting ya'll are complaining about is, I just picked up a 2005 with a stock wind screen and rode it 90 miles home at speeds between 70 and 85 with no problems.

Here is an updated shot of my bike from the previous page after adding a couple of farkles.



I still want to add the SW Motech crash bars, hand guards, and probably replace the rear box with a Pelican 1550.

Gyrene84, it's simply a matter of personal preference. It gets quite windy here during the Spring months and I didn't like how the wind hitting from the side would push the bike....and was especially unnerving in 60mph turns with the bike leaning into the turn but traveling straight because of the side wind. Went right home and removed the screen.

hello looking at your photos, your windscreen does not appear to be stock. It has too much of an arc at the top and looks just a bit taller than stock.

I'm still waiting for my title but took a plate off my other bike and went for an illicit ride on the local town roads. I picked up the bike almost 2 weeks ago and couldn't wait any longer!
