Default Hello all, new to the forum and to motorbiking generally!

I have just taken delivery of my first big bike, and I settled on a wee strom! I've been riding around on a Honda XR125L for the last few months, and will be taking my final test on the 20th November (for non-UK members, in the UK we have to jump through a lot of hoops to be allowed onto anything bigger than a 125!!). I couldn't resist picking up this lovely bike even though I'm not allowed to ride it yet. It's an '05 DL650 with 6k miles on the clock but it looks like it's never left the showroom! Nothing exciting on her yet, but will be slowly acquiring bits and pieces, starting with luggage and crash bars. Can't wait to get out and ride her!

(Apologies for all of the junk in the photo, one of my neighbours is in the process of moving out, so the selection of furniture changes on a daily basis!)

Great score on the Wee JRS. I believe you will really like the ride. Good luck on the test.

Howdy all, I just picked up a 2005 Weestrom on November 12th. All stock with 39k miles. Time to pour money into farkles.

Morning before work at Point Mugu, CA

Default new-bee

Just picked the 06 up. So far I removed the windscreen to eliminate buffeting.

Well, I took my test this morning in strong winds and rain, and passed! Just been out on my first ride on the wee and it's lovely!! Couldn't be happier with my purchase and such a lovely change from the old Kawasaki ER 5's that the training school use, especially considering I'm 6'2". I just need some better weather to really get out and enjoy it now. Better hope that the British winter is slightly nicer than the British summer!

Congrats on passing the test. Good luck with the weather. I winterized my '06 Wee and my wife's Virago 535 last week. Am now collecting farkels for winter installation. The Wee is is a great bike.

A few rather poor cell phone pictures of my Wee from random rides around the mountains. This thing is so much fun!
