How does the Wee compare with the Thuxton? I seriously thought about a Thuxton for a while.

Two totally different bikes.
The wee handles like a sport bike, it's quiet, it has the modern frills, it's practical.

The thrux has attitude. It has that great brit twin rumble at idle and growls like beast in heat when you really open up the throttle It's faster than the wee but handles like a tank in comparison. Carbuerated, no gas guage, no clock, no temp guage, gas mileage is not so good and the tank is small in comparison. But it's got soul.

Basically the reason I was looking at one - until I realised that the Wee had a much bigger grin factor.

I think I might have around 500 on her now, and all of it riding in near freezing point temps. Just a handful rides within 50 kms of home. But I'm planning a longer ride this weekend, and the cold weather be damned.

Plan is to take this route on Saturday, if my riding buddy is free and has his Bandit fired up. Should add another 350 kms of cold weather riding to the clock...
